Processors convert the raw product into a processed, marketable product. They sort fish, tend and operate header machines, inspect the products, load and unload plate freezers, weigh, package and label the product, and load/unload the product and other supplies on/off the ship. They clean the factory area on a regular basis and perform other work as directed. Processors may work in any of a number of areas of the vessel including the factory, the freezer hold, on the back deck, or on adjoining docks or vessels during offloads and backloads.

Refrigeration Operator at Wood River, AK

This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing the facility's refrigeration systems in order to maximize throughout while optimizing quality and adhering to safe operating procedures. This position is also responsible for assisting in the upkeep, repair, and operation of the facility's ammonia refrigeration systems including tunnel freezer and blast cell freezers, flake ice machines, RSW chillers, and the Mess Halls various freezers and cooler units.

REFRIGERATION ENGINEER at Alaska Shoreplant

SUMMARY

Repairs and maintains refrigeration units and mechanical equipment in Alaska Shoreplant Locations by performing the following duties:
