PURPOSE Ensures the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of materials to proper job site. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING


● Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

● Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

● Responsible for pick-up and delivery of material in a safe and timely manner.

● Communicate truck/job status.

● Maintains appearance of truck, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels, oil, hydraulic coolant and fuel.

● Performs minor repairs to truck as needed.

● Maintains load in transit to job site.

● Keeps accurate DOT logs and load sheets

● Performs pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of truck.

● Additional task as assigned and trained at job site including housekeeping.

● Other duties as assigned.


● Working relationship with plant staff. RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBs


 Required Education: High School diploma/GED

 Required Work Experience: 3-5 years’ experience preferred

 Required Training/Certifications: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

 Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic Computer experience  Additional Requirements:

 Excellent driving record  Must pass DOT drug screen and obtain and retain DOT physical card

 Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to express written and verbal information in a clear, concise, well-organized manner

 Ability to plan and organize work

 Able to initiate action to achieve goals beyond what is required

 Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change

 Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team environment

 Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
