Four Little Devils Farms is a family-owned farming operation specializing in vegetables and vegetable seed production. We are a growing company and are seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and motivated full-time Senior Financial Controller to help us take our company to the next level!

The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader and mentor, have high energy and be a collaborative problem solver who is able to build a team oriented working environment. They will have a willingness to coach and support a solid and hardworking accounting staff, but also be willing to roll up their sleeves and work side by side with them. They will provide informational and analytical support to senior managers and be an active participant in strategic discussions with the company president and rest of the management team. They are responsible for all aspects of financial and fiscal management including forecasting, budgeting, general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, cash flow, reporting, risk management, strategic planning, lender relations, and taxes. This role will report directly to the president and will be a partner in developing long term vision for the organization.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited too):

• Manage receivables, debt obligations, payroll, taxes, payables, reporting and financial statements to ensure they are handled in a timely manner.

• Oversee the preparation of accounting records, consolidated financial statements, cash flow budgets and other reports.

• Develop and implement accounting department controls and SOP’s

• Monitor debt, equity and working capital levels, and Report to management regarding business finances on a monthly basis.

• Monitor business trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and other obligations to project future revenues and expenses and to provide advice.

• Facilitate development of financial and managerial strategies and growth planning by providing information and analysis.

• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all designated employees.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance preferred.

• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Financial Leadership position

• Must have proven track record of hands-on management in: managerial accounting, cash flow, benchmarking, developing, and managing budgets and improving processes, audit management, cost accounting, strategic planning, and business implementation.

• CMA or CPA, preferred

 Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills, ERP implementation experience, and has previously had full responsibility for financial management in a rapidly growing enterprise
