Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Plant Engineer this position performs maintenance operations at the Malvern location. The maintenance technician is responsible for facility maintenance to include troubleshooting, adjusting and replacing AC and DC electrical equipment, repair and maintain facility equipment, inspect, troubleshoot, repair or replace mechanical components, perform preventative maintenance inspections of plant equipment, and welding equipment.
Essential Duties and
● Troubleshoot, adjust and replace AC and DC electrical equipment such as controls,Proximity sensors, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers.
● Repair and maintain high-pressure pasteurization equipment
● Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components such as motors,drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings and transfer plates
● Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace pneumatic equipment such as hydronic andnhydraulic seals, high-pressure components, air compressors, pumps, hoses, and cylinders.
● Perform preventative maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as conveyors,water heaters, HVAC, water pumps, heat exchangers, evaporators, fans and powered industrial equipment.
● Welding equipment such as frames, conveyors, package handling equipment, carts and Guards.

Job Factors:
● Work Environment – this job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a Manufacturing facility. This role routinely performs work duties in a standing position.
● Physical Demands – This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to Perform bending and standing up is required. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis.
Experience Required:
● AAS Degree in Electronics, Electromechanical, or related field of study preferred
● 1-year previous experience in refrigeration preferred
