Jack Shop Mechanic 2nd shift- WAP, Willmar, MN
Job Responsibilities
1. Perform general maintenance tasks, including PM's on equipment per area, welding repairs as assigned.
2. Perform other duties assigned by techs or Supervisors.
3. Assist other team members in completing work orders/tasks per maintenance schedule.
4. May be part of the Emergency Response team.
5. Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment .
Minimum Qualifications
*May be required to lift in excess of 50 lbs. at times.
*Posses a general working knowledge of hand tools and their uses in routine work .
*Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance work such as greasing , oiling, minor troubleshooting and repairs. *Practice good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices as outlined by company policies .
*Ability to perform basic equipment and building maintenance with minimal direction .
*Ability to identify basic machine parts and maintenance supplies .
*Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
*Experience using hand tools, good attendance. Ability to follow directions, self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
*Basic computer skills - word, excel
*Building maintenance experience, concrete work
