Job Title:          Forklift Operator – Product Storage

Education/Prerequisite Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Equipment/Training Knowledge:

• Forklift certification
• Barcode scanner system

Direct Report:  Warehouse Lead

Indirect Report:  Warehouse Manager

Schedule:  Rotating Schedule, Weekends are required.

Work Specifications – Responsibilities:

• Responsible for food safety and quality
• Load and unload trucks

·         Understand all shipping policies and procedures

·         Understand all plant wide policies and procedures

·         Warehousing functions, down line and racking

·         Complete knowledge of scanning systems and all programs

·         Daily forklift check out sheets

·         Understand all shipping documents that pertain to the shipping department

·         Lift over 10 pounds

·         Record keeping

·         Understanding of all related shipping functions

·         Withstand hot and cold environments
