CDL A/B Driver

Base Pay:

Regional/OTR Class A drivers - $24.00/hr.

Local Class A drivers - $22.00/hr.

Class B box truck drivers - $19.00/hr.

Columbus-based, refrigerated trucking line has immediate driver openings! Truck driving opportunity allows for flexible scheduling, offering 4 nights at home each week. We are committed to our people, and the CDL truck drivers are the key to our business. Drivers will have access to a new fleet of refrigerated trucks.

Additional benefits include: $2,500 sign-on bonus; medical insurance; 401K; paid time off; quarterly performance bonus; quarterly safety bonus; weekly pay amount averaging $1,000-$1,200; layover pay and per diem; and fresh produce available two times a month!

Drivers are responsible for delivering finished products to a wide range of customers including loading and unloading in a safe and timely manner.

Additional Essential Functions Include:

·         Regional and over the road runs

·         Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy

·         Responsible for picking up necessary supplies and equipment

·         Assists warehouse personnel with proper placement of supplies

·         Review orders for accuracy – checking for correct number of boxes, correct address and support documentation

Performance Measurements:

·         Customer orders arrive in quality condition

·         Deliveries correspond precisely with customer orders

·         Professional communication with customers and vendors

·         Driving and loading functions are performed according to company standards and safety regulations

·         Delivery schedules are met

·         Vehicles are clean and well-maintained

Requirements:

·         At least 25 years of age

·         Active Class A or B driver's license.

·         Currently possess or can obtain a Medical Card

·         2 Years’ prior tractor trailer experience

·         Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

·         No DUIs or other major convictions in the past 5 years

·         Minimal moving violations (speeding, accidents, etc.)
