We have an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor working within the Meat Department based out of our warehouse located in Baldwin Park, CA. *This position will be permanently based in our new 26-acre Chino, CA Warehouse opening in early 2023.
The Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor reports to the Manufacturing Facilities & Maintenance Manager and is responsible for creating and maintaining SOPs related to ammonia refrigeration, the evaluation and oversight of process safety analysis (PSM) and process hazard analysis (PHA) for facilities with ammonia refrigeration company-wide. The Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor will be responsible for a team of 2-5 Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians, and will be required to travel to other company facilities.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for the personnel decisions of direct report
Creating and overseeing SOPs for ammonia refrigeration
PSM (process safety management) evaluation at each site to ensure the appropriate safety measures are taken for ammonia, to include travel
PHA (process hazard analysis) oversite, to include travel
Assigning and checking work of the team daily to ensure PM (preventative maintenance) work is completed
Providing guidance to technicians onsite and remote
Routine team meetings

Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
Pay Range is $45.00 - $60.00 per hour The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors
Schedule- May vary according to the needs of the business, but typically range from 6:00 am-2:30 pm, Monday- Friday
Travel with overnight stays and possible weekend travel (10%)
Overtime as needed

Qualifications
Ammonia Certification
RETA/IIAR Certification
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with Ammonia
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience supervising others
Works well independently with little or no supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer application skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
