Waste Water Supervisor

Case Farms is a fully integrated poultry farming and processing group of dedicated individuals comprised of over 2500 employees and 400 grower farms that work together to produce consistent quality poultry products every time for every customer.

We are currently recruiting for a Waste water supervisor for our Goldsboro Division complex. The waste water supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the processing plant, as well as ensuring that all safety procedures are followed and that all plant goals are met.

This position is responsible for ensuring that all water leaving the plant water treatment facility meets the requirements set by local, state and federal governments. This requires maintaining treatment systems, performing operational maintenance; keeping administrative records; budgeting for sufficient funds to operate and maintain the treatment facility effectively; and provide a safe working environment with proper safety equipment and tools for personnel. Other responsibilities include analyzing operational data to determine changes and improvements needed to accomplish objectives; ensuring wastewater samples are correctly collected and sent to the lab for determining permit compliance; and generating reports for the corporate office and government agencies as required. Other duties include aiding Wastewater Operators in maintaining their operator's license; overseeing and maintaining the operation of pre-treatment equipment; and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Requirements:

Education: Requires education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses.

Experience:

Three to five years.

Computer Skills:

Requires elementary computer skills, For example, checking email, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.

Travel:

One to five trips per year. Supervisory Responsibility: Requires supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
