Job Summary
Primary responsibilities are collecting, testing and documenting quality dressing, mayonnaise and sauces. Included in overall duties is to take samples, record and report accurately. Monitoring safe and sanitary conditions throughout plant using and enforcing GMPs. Requires close communication and coordination with production supervisor, packaging operators, maintenance, and warehousing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct line checks.
Check codes, boxes, labeling, seals, metal detector and weights.
Collect and test samples of product hourly.
Document analysis of samples.
Perform testing on oils.
Mix reagents and handle hazardous chemicals.
Communicate clearly with production supervisors, line operators, warehouse and others as necessary.
Observe, label and document ingredients, as they are unloaded from tractor-trailers.
Complete and file paperwork as needed by department.
Maintain and evaluate retain samples.
