PSM Management

  • Organize and provide leadership for all 14 elements of of the PSM
  • Act as primary respondent for all PSM audit activity
  • Actively participate in all refrigeration team activities
  • Stay abreast of current refrigeration technologies
  • Assist with daily decisions and how they relate to PSM
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the execution of compliance as a result of daily refrigeration activity
  • Attend the proper trade groups and meetings ( RETA, IIAR)
  • Monitor and ensure the PM program for ammonia related equipment is being completed

PSM Required Documentation

  • Review all system altering processes prior to implementation (refrigeration)
  • Organize and ensure PSM mandated training is complete for all applicable team members and contractors
  • Review and assist with Management of Change (MOC)
  • Review and assist with Pre Start up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
  • Review and assist with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
  • Review all refrigeration action plans for amonia related projects to ensure compliance and viability with PSM Program
  • Ensure mechanical and electrial drawings are complete and in proper format
  • Complete all required paperwork following any type of ammonia leak
  • Ensure all required paperwork is complete and stored in proper location in the system

Team CFG

  • Attend and participate in any required safety meetings
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings
  • Participate in any CFG leadership training
  • Participate in community events
  • Support cross functional teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and technical specs
  • Must have strong understanding of all CAL/OSHA, PSM, Hazmat and GFI safety programs and regulation
  • Required to be trained in proper ammonia response
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with Process Safety Management
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in ammonia refrigeration systems is strongly preferred
