Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all plant operations and machinery are running effectively and efficiently.​

Essential Functions:

Analyzes and repairs all manufacturing equipment and systems

 Understands and performs processes on machines to ensure machine efficiencies

 Performs problem solving tactics using Electrical, Pneumatics and Schematics

 Preventative Maintenance on factory machinery  Reparation and maintenance of conveyor systems

 Reparation and maintenance of pump/vacuum systems

 Utilization of CMMS

 Promotes Safety in the workplace by assuring that all safeties on equipment are in place and operating properly

 Complies with company policies and procedures

 Personal responsibility for following safety rules and GMP guidelines

 Responsible for maintaining a food safe work environment and in the event it is perceived that it is compromised, action is to be taken which includes stopping the process and notifying the supervisor, assistant supervisor, or lead on duty

 Other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

 Extensive knowledge of facilities/equipment set up and manufacturing equipment maintenance

 Proven Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge and experience

 Solid knowledge of food manufacturing equipment, including processing and packaging lines, a plus

 Electrical controls knowledge and experience  Pneumatic Controls/Systems Troubleshooting & Set-Up knowledge and experience

 Knowledge of PLC Controls  Safety/OSHA knowledge a plus

 LOTO knowledge a must

 Knowledge of Food Manufacturing or FDA regulated Manufacturing environment a plus

 Ability to work with and coordinate cross-functional teams

 Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

 Strong ability to problem solve

 Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus

Education & Experience

 Background and training in the food manufacturing industry is preferred

 High School degree or equivalent is required

Work Environment

 Lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds

 Working in heat and cold as required

 Ability to work in a loud environment

 Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and effectively respond to changing production schedules

 4 day/week, 10 hour shift (one scheduled work day on the weekend)

Pay is $23-$30/hour DOE

Shift Starts at 4 PM – 2:30 AM (10-hour shift).
