Alpenrose is hiring Local CDL Class A Drivers out of Portland, OR

Hiring Local CDL Class A Truck Drivers:
- Looking for CDL-A Drivers with at least two years of experience.
- Previous experience driving in snowy conditions is preferred.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50-100 lbs.
- As this job requires you to join the union (Teamsters 305), drivers will need to begin in a relief position.
- Monthly schedules are posted by the manager, so the drivers' schedules aren't all too sporadic, but new drivers must be a bit flexible.

Local CDL Driver ~ Class B
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately deliver product to customer location per invoice/BOL.
• Excellent customer service, ability to address customer questions, issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Unload, stock, rotate and organize product per customers needs.
• Must be able to maneuver/lift or carry 50-100 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately and legibly.
• Maintain driver logs and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain equipment in a clean and organized manner.
• Operate safely according to DOT regulations.
• Adhere to Alpenrose food safety programs.
Qualifications:
• Valid class B CDL license, driving experience preferred. and a Valid Medical Card
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical abilities test
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and turn in confined areas
• Must be able to operate power jack
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35 degrees)
• Must be able to read and follow instructions
• Delivery and area knowledge a plus
