Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician (WH810)
Location: All locations
Report to : Facility Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer
FLSA/Compensation: Full time, Hourly, Weekly
Role Summary: To maintain Ammonia Refrigeration equipment, and perform maintenance activities for buildings and equipment in order to support facility operations
Key Relationships: All vendors, customers, and team members related to Burris Logistics

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Essential duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned
• Provide support to the plant operations on quality and food safety matters
• Daily startup checks of scales, metal detectors, product codes, scale weights.
• Take line samples and environmental monitoring swabs (as applicable).
• Strict adherence to GMP’s and SSOP monitoring activities
Wage: $22.87 – $30.60, depends on level of license and training

Fresh Venture Foods, a fresh-cut produce processing facility located in Santa Maria, California is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who can work a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidates will have strong electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing plant. Primary responsibilities will be troubleshooting electrical issues, and adjusting, repairing, maintaining and PMs of equipment. PLC troubleshooting experience is highly recommended, including VFDs, packaging equipment, three phase and single phase motors.
