SUMMARY
The Industrial Refrigeration Technician under general supervision, works independently, performs advanced refrigeration maintenance and repair throughout the warehouse. Other areas of knowledge including electrical, refrigeration, ammonia, plumbing, fire protection systems, MHE, and carpentry. May direct the work of contractors.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Bongards is looking for a driven and dedicated individual to join our team as a Refrigeration Mechanic. The refrigeration mechanic will perform work involving pipe- fitting, insulation, repairing and or replacing malfunctioning parts, and troubleshooting the ammonia system and all associated equipment.

Principal Accountabilities:
REFRIGERATION MECHANIC sought for Alaska salmon plant in Naknek, AK. This facility is an ammonia refrigeration plant with an excess of 10,000 pounds of ammonia and falls under a PSM plan. The work schedule is typically 12 hours per day, 7 days per week. Additional work may be required during peak season. Housing, meals, and transportation provided. Wage 35.00 an hour which works out to be approximately 500.00 a day
